Revival Heavy Cut Compound – Maximum Power for Restoration
When it comes to tackling the toughest marine surface restoration jobs, Revival Heavy Cut Compound delivers professional-grade results with unmatched consistency and power. This advanced formula is engineered specifically for boats, yachts, and other marine surfaces that have suffered from heavy oxidation, deep scratches, and severe imperfections.
Unlike traditional diminishing compounds that lose their cutting ability as you work, Revival Heavy Cut Compound maintains full cutting strength throughout the polishing process. This ensures consistent, reliable performance from the first pass to the final wipe, saving time and reducing the number of polishing steps needed.
Designed to obliterate oxidation, staining, heavy swirling, and deep surface defects, this marine-grade compound quickly restores the brilliance and clarity of faded gel coats and fiberglass finishes. Whether you’re reviving an older vessel or restoring a neglected surface, Revival Heavy Cut Compound gives you the confidence to bring back a bright, smooth, showroom-quality finish.
Ideal for use with rotary or dual-action polishers, this heavy-cut formula is trusted by marine detailing professionals and boat owners alike for its efficiency, durability, and ease of use.
Key Features:
• Advanced Traction Formula: Maintains consistent cutting power throughout the buffing process without breaking down, delivering predictable, high-efficiency results.
• Oxidation Eliminator: Aggressively removes heavy oxidation, deep surface imperfections, and restores clarity and shine to heavily weathered marine surfaces.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Engineered for maximum effectiveness on tough restoration projects, capable of buffing out up to 800-grit sanding scratches with ease.
• Low-Solvent Formula: Developed with reduced solvent content, making it safer for both users and the environment without sacrificing performance.

How to Use Revival Heavy Cut Compound
Step 1: Wash the surface thoroughly with Revival Wash & Wax Boat Soap to remove dirt, salt, and oils. Dry completely before beginning the compounding process.
Step 2: Shake the bottle vigorously to ensure the compound is fully mixed and ready for even application.
Step 3: Apply three small circles of Revival Heavy Cut Compound onto a white wool cutting pad attached to a rotary polisher.
Step 4: Focus on 2x2-foot sections at a time. Spread the compound evenly across the section before activating the polisher.
Step 5: Set your rotary polisher between 1500–2000 RPM and apply medium to heavy pressure to effectively cut through oxidation and surface imperfections.
Step 6: Buff each section using a cross-hatch pattern. This method ensures even coverage and maximum defect removal.
Step 7: After compounding, wipe the area thoroughly with a clean microfiber towel to reveal a revived, bright surface.
For a swirl-free, mirror-like finish, always follow up with Revival Medium Cut or Revival Polish & Protect to refine and enhance the shine.
