About This Product
Revival Heavy Cut Compound – Maximum Power for Restoration
When it comes to tackling the toughest marine surface restoration jobs, Revival Heavy Cut Compound delivers professional-grade results with unmatched consistency and power. This advanced formula is engineered specifically for boats, yachts, and other marine surfaces that have suffered from heavy oxidation, deep scratches, and severe imperfections.
Unlike traditional diminishing compounds that lose their cutting ability as you work, Revival Heavy Cut Compound maintains full cutting strength throughout the polishing process. This ensures consistent, reliable performance from the first pass to the final wipe, saving time and reducing the number of polishing steps needed.
Designed to obliterate oxidation, staining, heavy swirling, and deep surface defects, this marine-grade compound quickly restores the brilliance and clarity of faded gel coats and fiberglass finishes. Whether you’re reviving an older vessel or restoring a neglected surface, Revival Heavy Cut Compound gives you the confidence to bring back a bright, smooth, showroom-quality finish.
Ideal for use with rotary or dual-action polishers, this heavy-cut formula is trusted by marine detailing professionals and boat owners alike for its efficiency, durability, and ease of use.

How to apply
How to Use Revival Heavy Cut Compound
Step 1: Wash the surface thoroughly with Revival Wash & Wax Boat Soap to remove dirt, salt, and oils. Dry completely before beginning the compounding process.
Step 2: Shake the bottle vigorously to ensure the compound is fully mixed and ready for even application.
Step 3: Apply three small circles of Revival Heavy Cut Compound onto a white wool cutting pad attached to a rotary polisher.
Step 4: Focus on 2x2-foot sections at a time. Spread the compound evenly across the section before activating the polisher.
Step 5: Set your rotary polisher between 1500–2000 RPM and apply medium to heavy pressure to effectively cut through oxidation and surface imperfections.
Step 6: Buff each section using a cross-hatch pattern. This method ensures even coverage and maximum defect removal.
Step 7: After compounding, wipe the area thoroughly with a clean microfiber towel to reveal a revived, bright surface.
For a swirl-free, mirror-like finish, always follow up with Revival Medium Cut or Revival Polish & Protect to refine and enhance the shine.

Vinyl guard brings old boat seats back to life
We bought the 4 step cleaning kit for our tender which had black spots that we could not remove with any other cleaning product. We even had the manufacturers reps attempt to clean the boat and they could not remove the stains. The Intense Clean and Mold and Mildew RTU Marine Grade worked and the tender looks like its new again! I am reordering the products and will try the Corrosion Blocker next. Great product - Highly Recommend.
Wonderful product! Bought the small spray bottle to test on the seat covers of our Boston Whaler and it got rid of all the mold and mildew stains quickly. Was so impressed I ordered the gallon.
Great product. It's a must have for vinyl cleaning.
Tried lots of cleaners, not much improvement till i used Revival . Its like Magic !!
Super easy the guys we’re super helpfull
This product did some great cleaning. Very powerful stuff.
Product worked well on my chrome and metal on the boat. Brought back a good shine and now will help protect it as well.
The Vinyl Guard seemed to be a great product. Went on great and gave my Vinyl a slick new feeling.
This cleaner is amazing! The grime breaks down and “melts” away! Best vinyl cleaning products out there! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Unfortunately i can not give a review on heavy cut compound. I ordered heavy cut but when it was delivered it was medium cut. I didn't have time to return and exchange so I just used the medium cut. It did a great job at removing the few spots of light oxidation and fine scratches I was concerned with. My boat is solid red Which I have found is quit difficult to keep from oxidizing. Long story short. Medium cut worked great but can not rate heavy cut.
First time using a compound on our boat. Went from chalky dull finish to clear cut and ready for P&P. For a first time detailer like this, the product made it much easier to use.
Its Great
Revival Heavy Cut RIPS! Run it fast, run it hot and cut out oxidation. Does not clog your wool pads like other brands.
This stuff cuts.
This compound was specifically designed to remove heavy oxidation and even 800-grit sanding scratches, making it a go-to solution for bringing severely weathered surfaces back to life. I wanted something that boat owners and professional detailers could rely on for consistent, high-quality results without having to work twice as hard.
